Travel booklets and books from Vestavia Hills
This one came out of a Vestavia Hills estate sale on August 15, 2026, and the haul is mostly paper. There's a whole spread of travel booklets and pamphlets covering castles of England, Scottish history, Northern Ireland, and the high crosses of Kells, along with folded maps and a Sierra Club map mixed into the pile. A few local pieces turned up too, including a booklet on Malbis Memorial Church.
On the book side there's a couple of older hardbacks, one titled Story of the Irish Race, plus a history of Samford University and a boxed Nelson giant print reference Bible in the King James Version.
It's a nice little run of ephemera for anyone who collects travel booklets or Irish and British history material. We'll be sorting through it all and listing pieces as we go, so keep an eye out as these make their way online across our usual marketplaces.
