A stack of Alabama-connected paperbacks

From an Anniston, Alabama estate sale

This batch is more paper than anything else. There's a reunion program for Calhoun County's Calhoun High School and Oxford High School, dated for a weekend in May 2000, with a photo of the school building on the cover.

Alongside it are two maroon hardbacks, Studies in Exodus and Studies in Leviticus, both tied to East Tennessee School of Preaching lectureships. There's a softcover titled Entre Nous with a photograph of a woman seated in a patterned dress on the cover, and a copy of The Last of the Whitfields by Elise Sanguinetti, its cover showing a columned house.

Rounding it out is a booklet called The Alabama Baby Indestructible Doll, 1899-1932 by Bonnie Gamble Ballinger, paired with an addressed envelope bearing a doll-related return label and postage stamp.

We'll be photographing and listing these individually in the coming days, so keep an eye out as they come online across our marketplaces.
