Kricheldorf Deutschland und Gebiete 1947 — Grundriß der Postwertzeichen, ihre Bewertung lose und auf Brief (an outline of German and German-area postage stamps with valuations, loose and on cover). Stated 1. Auflage (first edition), Kricheldorf-Verlag, Freiburg im Breisgau, copyright 1947, printed by Herder-Druckerei. Softcover in German, roughly 7.5 x 5 inches and several hundred pages, illustrated with stamp images. Used, fair condition: the paper cover is chipped and torn along the right edge with loss, spotted and soiled, and the postwar paper is toned throughout, but the text block is intact.

The verso of the title page carries the French occupation authority's publishing licence (G.M.Z.F.O. visa of the Direction de l'Education Publique and authorisation of the Direction de l'Information) — an evocative early-postwar detail. The cover reproduces a Baden cover with a DURLACH cancel and a black-on-green Baden Freimarke.

Coverage runs through the German states and Reich issues, colonies and offices abroad (the pages shown cover Deutsche Reichspost in Marokko). A good reference and collectible for German philately and postwar occupation-era printing.
