About this piece
Original 1927 advertisement for "Butterfly-Tints," The Non-Boiling Home Dyes, manufactured by Butterfly Tinting Co., Minneapolis, Minn. Carefully removed from a vintage 1927 publication; it measures about 5.25 x 3.75 inches. Light even toning, small binding holes along one edge, and a small brown spot on the butterfly trademark.
Features the butterfly trademark, "36 Beautiful Shades and Colors," only 15c per package, plus companion products Butterfly "Strippi-Lene" (removes dye for re-dyeing) and Butterfly "Curta-Lene" (renews white curtains in a rich ecru shade).
A nice piece of home sewing and laundry advertising for textile and dye collectors, Minneapolis history, sewing room decor or junk journals.
