About this piece
Lot of 3 original vintage black-and-white snapshots of the same boy. In one he stands on a dirt farm lane between a matched pair of big white or gray draft horses in bridles and blinders, holding their leads beneath a bare maple, with fields and hills behind. In another the same team stands in harness hitched to a wooden farm wagon in front of a large board-and-batten barn and a small shed, with the boy standing up in the wagon. The third shows him in a sweater and cuffed jeans beside a late-1940s sedan in front of a stone-faced ranch house with a porch. White borders. Condition: light toning and edge wear; the boy is slightly soft in focus in two; small pencil numbers on the otherwise blank backs.
