Lot of 4 original vintage black-and-white snapshots from one family album, featuring what appears to be the same curly-haired little girl. Included: the girl in a ruffled white party dress beside her frosted birthday cake with candles on a stool, a brick house behind; the same birthday with her parents standing behind her and the cake; two little girls in a garden, one cuddling a black-and-white tuxedo kitten; and the girl in a sunsuit kneeling with a black-and-white spotted dog beside a clapboard house, a toy wagon behind. Each print about 5 x 3.5 inches, three with deckle edges. Condition: light corner wear; blank backs with album-page toning lines.

From a family photo album from Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, purchased at auction in Canfield, Ohio. No names are written on the photos.

Birthday-cake and kids-with-pets snapshots are favorites with vernacular photo and animal collectors.
