Vintage St. Louis Cardinals rain check ticket stub from Busch Memorial Stadium, printed "St. Louis National Baseball Club, Inc." with the Cardinals bird-on-bat logo, a large "69" at top, Grand Stand, No. 02950, price $1.50 taxes included, and a printed facsimile signature of August A. Busch Jr. as President. It measures about 1.5 x 3.1 inches. Condition: shows toning, brown stains and edge wear consistent with age.
The "69" printed beside the logo may be a year or a game/series number; it is not otherwise dated, so please judge from the photos. Busch Memorial Stadium opened in 1966, so the stub dates from 1966 or later.
The back carries the club's license text ("The holder is admitted on condition...") and "No Refunds." Along the left edge of the back is a handwritten inscription in red ink that appears to read a name. It is unauthenticated and is not represented as an autograph; please see the photos and judge for yourself.
