Lot of 13 1997-98 Pinnacle Mint Collection NHL hockey cards, all with the bronze-foil coin design. Stars: Wayne Gretzky No. 18 (Rangers), Mark Messier No. 13 (Canucks), Martin Brodeur No. 16 (Devils), Peter Forsberg No. 3 and Joe Sakic No. 12 (Avalanche), Eric Lindros No. 1 (Flyers) and Jaromir Jagr No. 22 (Penguins). Minted Rookies: Joe Thornton No. 29 RC (Bruins), Sergei Samsonov No. 26 (Bruins), Alexei Morozov No. 27 ×2 (Penguins), Vaclav Prospal No. 30 (Flyers) and Jaroslav Svejkovsky No. 25 (Capitals). Ungraded; the cards look near mint in the scans.

Condition note: a faint vertical line shows on the Thornton front scan, which may be the scanner. The coins are printed foil, not real coins. Every front is pictured, plus most backs.

A strong same-set lot with seven Hall of Famers and the rookie year of Thornton and Samsonov.
