A New View from the Castle: The Smithsonian Institution's Quadrangle, by Edwards Park and Jean Paul Carlhian, with a foreword by Robert McC. Adams. Smithsonian Institution Press, copyright 1987. This illustrated softcover of about 160 pages covers the building of the Sackler Gallery, the National Museum of African Art, the S. Dillon Ripley Center and the Enid A. Haupt Garden. Condition: the inside is clean; the front cover has scuffs and small marks, the lower right corner is rubbed, and the back cover has light spots.

It is a good reference for Washington architecture, museum design and Smithsonian history.
