Lot of three Soviet-era Russian fairy tale collector plates in porcelain. Each reproduces a lacquer miniature from the Palekh or Kholui school in color and gold on a black ground. All three come with styrofoam boxes, Russian-language certificates and brass wire hangers. Two plates show no visible flaws in the photos; the third has hazy, mottled patches on the black ground.

• Lukomorye, fourth plate in the Russian Fairy Tales series, after Palekh artist R. L. Belousov, certificate dated 1989
• Snegurochka (the Snow Maiden), with a certificate and story card from the same series
• A Kholui-style plate showing a princess at a log house, an old woman with an apple, a dog and riders, with a Kholui Art Workshops certificate dated 1989

Please note that two of the certificates do not match the plates they came with. The Snegurochka plate came with Tsar Saltan papers, and the Kholui plate came with papers for a Snow Maiden title. All the papers are included.
