Two original 1928 snapshot photographs, each still mounted on its brown album page with handwritten captions. One is captioned "1928." and "The old Barn / Lexington N.C." The other is captioned "1928" and "Family Birthplace N.C." The album pages measure about 7.8 x 4.9 inches. Condition: the prints are in fine shape; the pages have punch holes, torn corners and general wear.

The barn photo shows a hewn log barn with a central drive-through bay and a weathered roof, with what appears to be an old car or wagon parked inside. Lexington is in Davidson County, North Carolina.

The farmhouse photo shows a two-story frame house with a porch and brick chimney, two men standing in a large garden in front and children on the porch. Below the caption a second line appears to read "Side facing old Kitchen" (our best reading). Along the side is written "Right F Barrier" and "Left Biesecker Jr," identifying the two men.

Both prints have decorative printed borders. A nice pair of North Carolina family and farm photos with names, place and date.
