The view shows the large brick church with a row of tall columns under a pediment, three canopied entrances, street lamps and neighboring houses. Standard 3.5 x 5.5 in, divided back, posted in 1916. Fair to good vintage condition with corner and edge wear, overall toning and handwriting on the back.

Front caption printed in red: "Christian Church, Beatrice, Neb." Card number 15991 printed along the left edge of the back.

Postmarked Tecumseh, Nebr., September 1916, with a green 1 cent Washington stamp. Pencil message headed "Tecumseh Neb Sept 28 1916" to Mrs. Nancy Blair of Effingham, Illinois, from a friend planning to arrive in Effingham on Saturday between 10 and 11 A.M.

A nice early Nebraska church view with a dated message, of interest to church, Nebraska and Effingham, Illinois family history collectors.
