Early divided back color postcard of the First Church of Christ, Scientist in St. Louis, Missouri, published by the St. Louis Post Card Co. and posted from St. Louis in January 1908. The front shows the classical columned facade with its pediment and medallion, wrought iron fence, young street trees and a man in a hat walking past. Standard 3.5 x 5.5 in. Good vintage condition with corner wear, some edge toning and light rubbing, plus cancel ink offset in the front sky.

Front caption: "First Church of Christ Scientist. St. Louis. U.S.A." Back: green "Post Card" heading with "This space may be used for communication" and "The address only to be written here," publisher line "St. Louis Post Card Co. St. Louis," and number 201700.

Postmarked St. Louis, Mo., Jan 29, 1908, 4:30 PM, with a 1 cent Franklin (Series 1902) stamp and wavy machine cancel.
